I've recently been reading through Donald Miller's book, How to Grow your Small Business. He makes a really helpful point that when we are marketing/selling we have to help the person buying be the hero, that by saying yes to what we have we can guide them to a better life. But ultimately it is about them and what they want not us.
Great reference there. I actually went through a few of his trainings end of last year and it really helped bridge the gap between coaching philosophy and the marketing/branding piece. I need to send you some of those exercises. I think it would help provide some more clarity on some of the questions you and I have kicked around last couple years.
