These are all too familiar concepts and strategies with imagery. What do they all have in common? Nothing to do with the client experience. And yet - similar to other mental skills - we lead with them instead of leading with client experiences.
Why does this matter? Because it actually makes teaching imagery a WHOLE LOT EASIER when we lead with the client experiences first. Imagery is tricky and the longer I’ve done it, I have found it much simpler to use client experiences first as a way to teach the important concepts behind to clients.
